This is a 12 panel 3.8 kW-DC solar system. The solar panels used were Q-Cells and the Inverters were Enphase microinverters.

Q-cells are a brand of solar panels that we install often as they are a quality South Korean brand and offer great value.

Enphase microinverters are the only inverters we install at SOLAR SOURCE. Why are microinverters better than string inverters?

Because there is no single point of failure.

If a system with a central inverter fails, solar production stops completely. With one microinverter per module, solar production keeps working even if a microinverter fails.
