What Does The Solar Process Look Like in Cerritos, California?

Are you thinking about getting solar for your home or business in Cerritos, California? The Cerritos building department explains the process here about how to apply for a solar permit.

The good news for you, if you hire us, we will take care of the solar permitting process on your behalf.

After we meet with you and the solar agreement is signed, we will start work on the solar plans for your project. Once the plans are complete, we will work with the City of Cerritos on the permitting process.

Once we have permit in hand, we will work with you to figure out a timeline for the solar installation. Once the installation is complete, we will schedule an inspection with the City of Cerritos. Upon receiving the approval from the City, we will begin the Net Energy Metering process with the Utility. If you live in Cerritos, the utility company is Southern California Edison. Once the application is submitted, Southern California Edison will send us an approval of the Net Energy Metering in less than a month (most of the time). Once approved you will receive credit for your power production.
