Are you thinking about getting solar for your home or business in Long Beach, California? The Long Beach building department explains the process here about how to apply for a solar permit.
The good news for you, if you hire us, we will take care of the solar permitting process on your behalf.
After we meet with you and the solar agreement is signed, we will start work on the solar plans for your project. Once the plans are complete, we will work with the City of Long Beach on the permitting process.
Once we have permit in hand, we will work with you to figure out a timeline for the solar installation. Once the installation is complete, we will schedule an inspection with the City of Long Beach. Upon receiving the approval from the City, we will begin the Net Energy Metering (NEM) process with the Utility. If you live in Long Beach, the utility company is Southern California Edison. Once the NEM application is submitted, Southern California Edison will send us an approval of the NEM in less than a month (most of the time).
