SOLAR SOURCE recently installed this solar system in the Westwood area of Los Angeles. The solar system is a 14 kW system consisting of LG solar panels and Enphase Micro-inverters.
What does the installation process look like?
Once the project has been discussed, we have guided you through your product and financing options, design details have been out together, and the agreement has been signed, we will work with our engineers to finalize plans and apply for permits.
Once the permits have been approved, we will contact you to schedule our installers and electricians to install your solar system.
Depending on the size of the system, typically, the installation will take from 1 to 3 days.
Upon completion, we will schedule an inspection with the City. Once the solar inspection has been signed off by the City, we will submit a Net Energy Metering (NEM) application with the Utility Company. Once the NEM process has been completed, you will receive credit from the Utility Company for the power you are producing.
On average, from the day the solar agreement is signed through NEM being approved by the Utility company, the whole process usually takes about one month.
