Upon receiving the approval from the City, we will begin the Net Energy Metering (NEM) process with the Utility. If you live in Los Angeles, the utility company is either LADWP or Southern California Edison. Once the application is submitted, the utility company will send us an approval of the NEM in less than a month (most of the time). Once approved you will start receiving credit for your power production.
