Once we have a permit in hand, we will work with you to figure out a timeline for the solar installation. Once the installation is complete, we will schedule an inspection with the City of Los Angeles. Upon receiving the approval from the City, we will begin the Net Energy Metering (NEM) process with the Utility. If you live in Los Angeles, the utility company is either LADWP or Southern California Edison. Once the application is submitted, the utility company will send us an approval of the NEM in less than a month (most of the time). Once approved you will start receiving credit for your power production.
